What We Did
Similar to the VA Loma Linda Hospital, Bree worked in close collaboration with USD’s facilities staff to prepare an As-Built Utility Plan for use in anticipation of their developing Masterplan build-out. Through detailed review of reference maps provided by the campus’ facilities staff as well as additional as-built and utility information discovered during due diligence, Bree directed the design team to begin stitching the pieces together in CAD to create a visual image of what the available record drawings indicated the existing subterranean infrastructure looked like.
To supplement the available maps and as-built drawings, her team performed detailed Aerial and Field Topographic, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Physical Site Surveys to confirm location of subterranean utilities. Additionally, her team was asked to survey the campus’ on-going construction projects as they were built for accurate incorporation into the plans. Additionally, she was asked to provide additional survey monuments throughout the campus for more accurate point locations. Bree worked with the campus to develop custom engraved monuments, which were then installed on campus to support their future construction projects
"My experience working with Bree on two of the largest projects here at the University of San Diego this past year 2017-2018 has been nothing short of the best experience specifically in regards to their staff working as a team of professionals, extremely knowledgeable in their craft, quick to respond and jump in to help with positive add ideas and support and very well coordinated in scheduling the completion of work under tight deadlines. I am looking forward to continuing to work with Bree and her team on additional projects here at the University!"
